Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by our driver and travel to Akagera National Park. You will go through the wilderness of beautiful nature in the land of a thousand hills.
Arrive to the lodge, then check in and lunch. You will leave for late afternoon game drive to spot wildlife such as Elephants, Zebras, Impalas, Lions etc.

Your tour guide will take you to the Mutumba hill on the way to the northern part of the park after your morning meal. Due to its broad, lush Savannah grasslands, the northern part is the best place to go on game drives and see wild animals such as buffaloes, lions, different bird species, beautiful butterflies, giraffes etc.
Return to the Lodge and relaxation and you will go for a boat cruise on lake Ihema where you will enjoy the cool breathe while watching several species of wildlife on the shores of lake Ihema like Impalas, Hippos, Crocodiles and various waterbirds.

You will wake up at leisure and have your delicious breakfast and meet your driver for your journey to volcanoes national park. You will drive through different plantations, hills and many more along the way. Enjoy an en route lunch. Upon reaching your lodge, check in and dinner.

Eat a substantial meal early in the morning, and then your driving guide will transport you to the park’s headquarters for beefing. Start your exciting journey of tracking gorillas later. The trek takes 1 to 6 hours, and trekkers are allowed to spend 1 hour with the gorillas. It is incredibly enjoyable to watch them play, protect one another, and feed, among other things. Hikers will be able to see additional wildlife while trekking, such as golden monkeys, elephants, and birds.
You will be taken to the Iby’iwacu cultural village, which is close to the volcanoes national park, after some relaxation. You will be delighted with cultural dances and get the opportunity to learn more about the native Kinyarwanda culture while at the hamlet. Expect to participate in the performances and have the opportunity to purchase mementos.

Get up early, eat breakfast, and then travel to the Volcanoes National Park offices for a briefing on tracking golden monkeys. Following the briefing, the park guide will take you into the forest, where you’ll finally be able to see the monkeys perched on treetops and foraging on the ground. A rare and threatened species of primates is the golden monkey. They pose for as many shots as they can while looking adorable. You will then return to the park for lunch and embark on your journey back to Kigali. Our driver will drop you at the airport or at the hotel.
